Dear Diary
I am having so much fun making clothes on my sewing machine! and remaking them too, when they don't turn out exactly how I expected them to look or fit.
I didn't get much sewing don for the past two days because I went shopping on Tuesday with Mother and my Aunt. On Wednesday Mother was off work and I was watching some of the 'Project Runway' shows that I missed. (No, I don't have plans of being a famous fashion designer, I just like making my own clothes and watching the show.) I was only going to watch the show while eating lunch but then Mother found out what I was watching and she ended up watching all of season 10 with me.
Yesterday I took a skirt I previously mad and tuned it into more of an apron/jumper cross. It looks much better then before. Hey, I am learning.
Oh, when I was out I bought two very pretty flower wreaths. They are both made differently, and now I can see how they are made and make my own, not only are they great to wear in my hair, they also look very nice around the brim of my hats.
Also, the store clerk that sold me them noticed that I was wearing a Monster High bracelet. She collects Monster High Dolls as well, and also makes her own clothes and accessories. I thought she might be a fun person to get to know, If I go back to the mall I should find out if she has a Facebook, she would be fun to bounce ideas off of.
I want a pair of boots and shoes both in brown to go with the light colors in my wardrobe. Mother mentioned wanting to go shopping for shoes earlier today, so we might do that some time next week. It is a toss up because I have to pay my bills first of course, but I would like to be able to squeeze in the shoes without having to dip into my stashed money to do so, but I think I will get the shoes even if I have to maybe take a hundred out of my stash... decisions. :/
