Good luck on that distance thing. I understand and it can be done, I have been with my fiance for the past 6 years and a lot of it has been apart, with me living in japan, different states and currently in Kuwait, its been a year since we've seen each other and it wont be until July when she returns to Texas that we will see each other again.

I just worry about him, and its weird not having my second shadow about. We've been apart for 3-6 month stints but now this time its longer .. I just hope we can manage .. in my case, he's American and Im Australian ..so I have to look into VISAs and whatnot to stay longer in your country prior to marriage .. so we have that upon our shoulders also.
Yay! I bet youve got a countdown going till July?? :)
I just randomly friended you because I was reading old posts at usmcgirlfriends, and being the nosy creature I am I came to have a look at your blog.
I'm sort-of in a similar situation myself; but I've not actually MET my Marine in person (hahaha, we met on myspace *sniggers*), we're trying to sort something out at the moment but things keep on getting in the way (money, distance -I'm from Adelaide -, deployments - he's in Japan at the mo but is usually at Camp Pendleton -, blah blah blah).
Umm, so its been interesting reading your blog. LOL. Feel free to ignore me or tell me to bugger off - I won't be offended!
