1997
July
School ENDS. Neville stays at Hogwarts, Harry goes to the Burrow and Susan stays with the Abbott family. Everyone else is pretty sorted.
Hannah has her party
Padma visits Aldrick in order to see her owl and owl babies.
The great design duo (Lav and Al) meet once more.
The Gryffindors (most of them) meet at Hogsmeade
Pansy tells Millicent that something has happened to her father. Millie kisses Pansy and it grosses Pansy out and makes her angry. Pansy’s father ‘employs’ Millie.
Pansy is being trained for something by Adonis Parkinson
Padma has a piano recital
Pansy and Daphne make up
Susan meets Neville at Diagon Ally. FOR THE LAST TIME. *SAD*
Rodolphus Lestrange, previously believed dead, returns.
Aldrick and Padma go ' shopping'
Hermione comes and stays at the Burrow
The Slytherins meet up in Diagon Alley
Jonathan comes over to Zach's house and, well. You know.
OWL and NEWT Results come out (Cho, Jonathan, Ginny)
Remus and Tonks talk about Sirius.
Rabastan and Bellatrix get it on! Bad Bella!
Tonks answers Cho's questions about becoming an Auror
Jonathan and Padma go dancing. Aldrick is jealous likewhoa.
August
Draco is being trained/looked after by Snape, but has been allowed to have Pansy over
Dumbledore makes Harry return to the Dursleys for 24 hours, and asks Remus to pick him up.
Justin's Mum drags him along to Hannah's house.
Neville receives threatening letters from Bellatrix
Narcissa and Snape catch up on old times during a parent/teacher conference
Draco and Pansy run off to France. Narcissa and Snape are not happy.
After months of fighting, Harry and Ginny finally reconcile. Then they go flying and talk etc.
Susan gets threatening letters and is frightened. A few hurried owls are exchanged between her and Neville, but she is not pacified and ends up telling Hannah everything.
Under Bellatrix's instructions, Neville leaves Hogwarts. Inevitably, he is caught, tortured and killed by Bellatrix. Albus arrives too late to save him. A journal entry, hexed to appear upon his death, appears in Neville's journal.
Neville's death fires up a general aspect of fear among the Hogwarts students. Susan is crushed, of course. Harry is just angry.
The Prophet is much more alert this time, and publishes the news.
Hermione and Harry have a face-off.
Albus invites Remus to come back and teach.
Draco makes a speech at his father's funeral.
September
School begins, with the Hogwarts Express leaving Platform 9 and 3/4, and Neville's memorial service, during which Harry and Ginny find his wand in the clearing.
Padma realises her period is late, and causes panic amongst several of her friends
Hermione and Anthony are announced as this year's Head Boy and Girl
Cho and Katie bond over lunch
Harry and Draco agree to duel out their differences. Harry basically loses, but Draco forces Harry to curse him, causing him to end up in the Hospital Wing. He therefore misses his Marking. He and Harry both get detention for a month. Oh, and during the duel, Draco throws Pansy across the room, causing her to not talk to him for about a month.
Tonks takes Cho and Katie under her wing as she guards the school and trains her to-be Aurors!
Millicent beats Ginny up, again, and Jonathan helps her. Ginny that is, not Millicent.
Padma confirms the pregnancy with Aldrick, who is less than pleased. Due to Aldrick's indiscretions, rumour spreads.
Harry and Ginny, equally beaten up, meet. It is a most productive meeting, in fact, they end up kissing. Oops!
Aldrick accepts Padma in a suprising display of affection.
October (the month of the Halloween Ball)
Ernie and Megan sneak into Hogsmeade. There is almost kissing, but no cigar.
Tonks takes an aging potion and ends up three years old! OOPS! She gets lost at Hogwarts, but is eventually found by Remus, Cho and Terry. Having Mini-Tonks at Hogwarts is fun for almost everyone.
Harry and Draco's detentions cause both boys to rethink their issues.
Things between Harry and Ginny, however, deteriorate rapidly when she decides to tell him about Derek. And Aldrick. And Victor. And Zach. No wonder the poor boy freaks.
Padma goes to New York in search of further musical pursuits, meeting Cho in New York.
Snape gives Draco a dressing-down for failing to come to his Marking
Harry agrees to talk with Ginny. He forgives her, and everything is good again. Harry, in Ginny's words, gets de-virginised.
Mini-Tonks has a tea party. Amusement for all :D
Roger and Cho go on a date. Well, they might not think it's a date. But it is.
Harry drops off poor old Trevor with Susan
Harry has nightmares, and his insomnia worsens, though it goes mostly unnoticed.
Ron asks Hermione to the ball. It's a conversation which leads to... well. Other things. They then become official. This conversation leads to v. cute first-time-sex-yay!
Lisa teaches Michael French, and he asks her to the ball.
Ernie and Megan muck around in a bathtub, and at some point he asks her to the ball as well
Terry plays his guitar and asks Mandy to the ball
Draco tries to blackmail Ginny into going to the ball with him
- The Halloween Ball! During which:
Cho and Katie and Narcissa sneak in
Millicent spikes the punch
Draco and Pansy sort it out
Harry learns how to dance
Zach and Jonathan go off to have 'I missed you!' sex
Draco, Millicent and Pansy team up against Harry and Ginny, who gets magically graffitied on and then stripped. Meanies!
Harry comforts Ginny
Ron and Hermione have another argument and more sex
Ernie dances with Megan
Ernie drinks the punch and gets all drunk and confessional
Susan chats with Justin, Ernie and Hannah
Lavender and Parvati attempt to pick up guys
Michael meets Susan and then Lisa
and - The Ravenclaw After-Party During which:
Padma and Terry are first to arrive
Cho and Roger snog
Mike and Terry chat
November
Dumbledore re-ages Tonks, which leads to some Remus/Tonks at last when she wakes up in Remus' rooms
Jon thinks Zach is giving too much away
Megan confronts Ernie about the events of the ball
Aldrick gets a shock when Padma tells him about their now lack of baby
Professor Lupin assigns group projects with random partners, which causes consternation, confusion and much complaining amongst the students
Before the Slytherin/Gryffindor game, Snape kidnaps Draco! Despite this, Slytherin win the game! They had a reserve seeker, but Harry apparently caught the snitch before Gryffindor were crushed too badly.
December
Hufflepuff win the Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff game
No one knows where Draco is, but Harry and Ron make an attempt to find out by spying on the Slytherins
School Holidays begin
Draco returns to his mother
Malcolm and Millie start dating
While at the Burrow, Harry gives Ginny a promise ring
Remus spends Christmas dinner with Tonks
Relations between Ron and Ginny deteriorate
Millie shows Daphne the best way to get drunk
