I've recently discovered that my excessively large free cable package includes a channel called the DIY network. It has fast become my favorite TV channel, even beating out Teletoon Retro as the first channel I'll check out when I turn on the tv for random entertainment. So glad the weekend is almost here. I've been tired, and lazy and unmotivated this week. I haven't cooked dinner for myself even once this week, I haven't done a damn thing around the house, and I've skipped all my fitness classes. Last night my roommate and I had a couple friends over for a mini dinner party. I made a big pan of fried rice, an awesome pie, and we made our own sushi again. I would love to do a big make-your-own sushi party, because it's so easy and always a big hit.

Had a good weekend. Busy, but relaxing and mellow at the same time. Spent Friday night and Saturday morning with Julie, playing cards (I kicked ass on Friday, and then had my ass kicked on Saturday), watching Ricky Gervais stand-up, and rewatching some of Spaced.
