Silent Night.
So, it's Christmas Eve and not a creature is stirring on the internet. Except for us who have no one to share Christmas Eve with. Here is a photo of my Jack O'Lantern who is still hanging out on the porch. I bought him a dollar store Santa hat to get him in the spirit of the season.
I spent most of the day cooking and cleaning in anticipation of company tommorrow. My kitty Lucy caught me tossing out her old, shredded to death, cardboard scratcher which will be replaced by a new one tommorrow. I turned around and she was sitting there staring at me with those big owl eyes of hers. All I could think of was Cindy Lou Who. "Why Santy Claus? Why?"
