What Do You Have To Say? - Arts & Crafts: My Inspiration
So I'm answering the little question on the homepage because I'm bored and giving my brain a break from naming organic compounds. XD
Hm, inspiration huh? Lots of things inspire my arts, from my writing to my drawing. The weather can be inspiring, once you've lived through a hurricane you get a good idea of what it's like to look at the sun and feel grateful relief for one more day. And having the flu and being unable to eat anything for almost a week makes you realize how weak you can become and still live, how hard it can be just to stumble out of bed and walk to the bathroom on that fourth day of throwing up whatever you try to ingest, excluding only water. And having your heart broken when something you love leaves you. Looking at children playing in the field or on a swingset. Being cut off in traffic, or driving down a stretch of scenic road in the mountains at the edge of fall when the leaves are vivid hues of gold and brown and red spreading up the sides of the mountain and making it look as if the whole feature is burning.
Inspiration is all around and I try to leave myself open for the world to move my soul.
