Wow.........I forgot about LJ....
Sad to say but yeah, I did forget entirely about this journal. Which is really, really sad. So I'm going to try and sum up the last oh...year in a single entry, brace for impact!
Started at LU in August of 2006. Things went pretty good. I met lots of new people who are fantastically nice. Also met a couple of people I could have lived without, but that's life. Left the wholesale club and now work for the Disney Store which is pretty nice although I'm technically on leave while I'm at school. I got a boyfriend for all of...maybe 3 weeks and now it's dwindling to a close but c'est la vie. I am still at LU and I really love it. I live with two really great girls this year and am fully immersing myself in school life and it still shocks people to know that it's only my 3rd semester at school. (They normally find out when I say "Oh what's that?" or "Where?") I'm in organic chemistry, environmental ethics, intro to com-sci, and eng 400 (the full title of which is "Advanced Writing Seminar: Civic Literacy in a Democracy"). They take a lot of time and effort on my part but I'm managing so far. I'm also in an academic/leadership fraternity, I'm the secretary. Hmmm. I think that's about it. I'm glossing over a lot of little things but that about sums up the important stuff, things that I will more than likely refer to in passing.
So why am I back? I'm bored. I miss writing. I write in my RL journal almost every night but it's just not the same. You write in those because you're writing deep, dark terrible things that you never want others to know about, except maybe posthumously (meaning after you're dead). But it's also easier to write your memoirs if you keep a journal. And as...interesting as my life is at times it is quite inspiring for writing fiction-stories, which we all know I love trying to do.
So anyway now that you've been updated: I'm going to go play with my journal settings a bit. Maybe I'll update again later tonight but I have to get at least some of my homework done.
