Filk - (PCs should) Fear the Reaper
It's filking time again, boys and girls! This one, for a slight deviation of pace, is an older one inspired by the world of MGD (to be honest, it's three worlds ago - we keep wrecking his worlds). Here's the situation: the PCs, a normal group of soldiers named Ash, Pavlov, Ellen, Feanor, Alen, Rollie, Gatts, Thom, and Mark, have encountered General Lucius Alexander, the hero of their nation. Tragically, he turns out to be a Reaper, a powerful entity in the service of the Goddess of Death. He overthrows Her (after She captured the Goddess of Life), and all of a sudden the PCs find themselves fighting for their lives and religions. Go figure. Ash was the commander of this motley crew, and ended up using a magical artifact to kill everyone in the room (except my character, Thom, and his sort-of girlfriend Ellen - and only because we were both undead at the time) and take their power to become equal to General Alexander. They had a cataclysmic showdown which blasted the kingdom capital to smithereens, and ended up freeing both Goddesses and stripping everyone of all the powerful artifacts that had been used to become so bitchin'. And Ka'lan Faar is the typical hero-turned-darkside. He's a monk who got captured and thrown into chaos, and emerged many years later leading their armies. He's the big bad guy of the world - the one we always fought and never killed.
But PCs should always Fear the Reaper.
