Have you ever discovered a song that you just like so much that you play it over and over and still never get sick of it? One that for some reason affects you in such away that endorphins keep popping in your head as you listen?

I listen to a ton of music, all day at work, in the car and often at home too. I'm always adding to my collection. I have cd's I listen to every week and then some I only dust off every few months and some in between. I have my own home-made Cranberries compilation that fits into this category. I love the delicious melancholy feel to her voice and the guitar accompaniment matches the mood perfectly. It's rare they have happy songs but there are a few.

I went on I-Tunes the other day to see if they have anything new and came across a greatest hits record with two new songs on it. The sample for "Stars" sounded good so I downloaded it and it's been love ever since! It is basically a happy song but with a little melancholy edge and I love this mixture. And the lyrics? Do they ever resonate with me at my current stage of life!

Unconditional love is a wonderful thing to have and I'm slowly discovering new friends like that.
