RL whining update
Life hates me. It really, really does. That song 'Ironic' really comes to mind right now. Things are finally looking up - I'm enrolled for classes and have it confirmed that I'm on the right track to graduate; I got to catch a book vandal who's cost the library several hundred dollars (I might post more about that one later); I got confirmation that the loan I needed was approved, so I'll be able to pay off a few things that have needed paying off; and I'm off all weekends for the forseeable future.
And then I come down sick. Not puking sick, thank the Havens, but sick. Started off feeling ill, then got stuffy nose and headache.
Now, I'm coughing hard enough to feel dizzy, and I've lost my voice. I can croak a little when I try, but it hurts like a bitch and isn't very loud anyway. I'm going to have to skip my first two classes tomorrow to go to the health center and try to get in for an appointment. Much as I dislike those two classes, I hate even more the fact that I'm going to miss the notes that might turn out to be important.
*sigh*
I'm going to finish my breakfast and go back to bed. Thessalian if you're still online when I get up again, I'd like to try and get a scene in, but I can't promise anything. I honestly feel like five pounds of crap stuffed into a one pound bag.
