Shiori stumbles out of the back entrance of the library, next to the loading dock. She almost falls down the steps, but manages to keep her balance by wheeling her arms around her. The glove flies off her right hand, but she doesn't notice.
"Keep going!" she urges, waiting for the other two to catch up a little and making a grab for Nate's hand, not noticing the feeling of skin touching skin. "We can lose them in the carnival!" The carnival which has been there since way before yesterday, thankyouverymuch Greg.
Incidentally, at least at first, Shiori's plan seems to be working. With the crowd as dense as it is, it's easy to lose themselves in it, though hopefully not each other. Shiori clutches at Nate's hand, breathing heavily. Okay, they're at the carnival, but now> what?
