Half of the time were gone but we dont know where, [01]

After leaving the Subway after a fruitless search and clueless security - Dovev forced himself to leave the platform. He pushed through the trees, ignoring the places and foul language directed at him.

It was... God, it was so long ago when he last went to the Police Station. It was for the Morgue. Then the Inquiry.

They asked if Holly was happy at home, if she mentioned any conflicts with co-workers, if - if - if. He got so sick of the word, got sick of hurt, of knowing every time he might need help it would be the pitying face of his former co-workers at the fire station, or one of those men who might have been negligent, who probably...

No! Why am I so paranoid? I need them, I need to help find my son! The man chided himself as he noticed the light above him dimming and traffic seemed to slow.

He could barely keep his eyes open - some part of him - not the primal instincts, but something more calculating - detached tried to rebel but it was like fighting against an avalanche. Dovev's knees didn't even bend when he goes crashing face-first into the ground.

That's odd. Dovev thought as he straightened himself up as he rubbed his nose and glanced about. Oh yes, that's right - he was going to pick up Levi at the Amusement park - He should probably ask the Manager for less all-nighters at the theater, it's getting quite embarrassing face-planting like this. Hmm...

Guess he still can't shake off the habit of going by the Police Station even if she's no longer there to split lunch with. Maybe he'll stop in. This time. Say Hello.
