Beware Green Lantern's Light

July is almost gone and we didn't hit 90 once. Mainly low humidity and cool temps, but it's also been dry and often windy. I've been putting lots of miles on the bike. I rode over to

unclehugo_edgar  on Monday and got a copy of Jeaniene Frost's newest book, Destined For An Early Grave. It's her fourth title in the Night Huntress series and I've really enjoyed reading these books. I should ride over again tonight and pick up a copy of the latest Weather Warden book from Rachel Caine, Cape Storm.  I may not make it tonight, because I'm going to watch Green Lantern: First Flight. I just watched the director's cut of Watchmen the other day and still have Coraline and Battlestar Galactica 4.5 to get too. Not to mention season 3 of Weeds. I had to order the second season of Pushing Daisies to get a good price, so I'll be watching that next week. In between biking, working and reading that is. I'm so behind on my reading. It never rains, so I tend to be on the bike or messing about on Facebook.

The Tour de France was really fun to watch this year. It'll be even more interesting next year when Lance returns with a new team that actually works together. There was a lot of tension on his team this year. The road construction out front continues through September. they're working late tonight. Started at 7:00 as usual this morning and they're still going at it. We may get rain tonight, but we've heard that one before.  Looking forward to Endeavour's return on Friday.
