Outside

It's still windy around here, but that's to be expected in the Spring. I got a nice ride in to
unclehugo_edgar  yesterday. One of my favorite coworkers from the 'berry stopped in and bought some books. Well, former co-worker, she's lucky enough to be retired and spending her time reading and gardening. We had a real nice chat. I really miss her at the 'berry, though she has been coming in every week and bringing us treats. Ken has started riding his bike to the store too, so I rode down the Greenway with him after work to show him the Martin Olav Sabo Bridge over Hiawatha. That name just rolls of the tongue.

I rode around doing errands today. The trails are packed. I had several cars come close to clipping me, as their drivers are too busy talking on the phone to actually drive. I made liberal use of my finger. I've got some ice on it now.

I really enjoyed reading Jim Butcher's latest, Turn Coat. If you haven't tried reading The Dresden Files you're missing out. I'm currently enjoying Second Skin, the third entry in the wonderful Nocturne City series. blackaire  is one of the best new writers around. If you have have been reading The Dresden Files, I think you'll really enjoy Caitlin's books. I'm looking forward to more books from her this year. It's going to be great reading more of her stories.
