Out and about at last
I worked yesterday, but I have today off since I'm at the 'berry all weekend. My cold is much better, but I expect to be dealing with it for another week or so. I hit four bookstores and a library today. I found 3 signed Brian Jacques books for the girls. Redwall is a favorite for both of them. They've each gotten to meet Brian and he's always a delight to see and hear in person. I got a Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes title as well as the newest Jeaniene Frost book, At Grave's End and Carrie Vaughn's Kitty and The Midnight Hour.
I picked up a ton of Green Lantern titles at the 'berry yesterday. I'm not hurting for reading material. I finished watching the first season of Weeds and really liked the show. I hope to get to season two next week.
The Uptown area is really getting to be a disappointment as far as shopping. It used to offer a variety of things to explore, but it's really becoming a boring stop. I still have two bookstores to visit, but other than that I don't have much reason to poke around. Well okay, Victoria's Secret was calling my name, but the_feral_cat didn't want to go in with her creepy old man, so we didn't get to go in and check out the merchandise.
The trails are calling my name, but my cough is saying not today.
