Meditation Club is fucking awesome.
And I <3 Avalon like no other. I can't wait :) :)
Going home for REAL this Friday for the game, and then the weekend... talking with rents about my ideas for careers and for the next few years and then seeing some people and an ortho appointment and maybe some Goodwill and maybe some Renaissance Fair on Saturday (AS my gypsy, eh? lol!).
And I am excited... I'm starting a female acapella group at Brevard College. Steven Acker started the male group, so we'll have two and we'll definitely collaborate on some songs too. Cool beans. It shall be "Sirenity", like the Sirens from Greek mythology and then serenity.. not because of the movie though. I spent 2 hours last night drafting up the constitution for the club. And I'm damn proud of it. I'm excited. Once it passes, we'll hold auditions and then probably just do some holiday songs and carolling. We'll get the real stuff going next semester.
What else. I finished "Wings of a Falcon" by Cynthia Voigt finally. Good book. And now I'm rereading "The Hero and the Crown" by Robin McKinley (I love her) so that I can read the other two in that trilogy. Word.
So what.. that's all my classes, an acapella group, Avalon, the oboe, piano... Not to mention still researching about the North Carolina School of Natural Healing for massage therapy and energy healing; not to mention one day I'll get a job... not to mention trying to just hang out and read and be with friends; not to mention going into the mountains and chilling; not to mention drooling over Blast! and waiting to learn mellophone. Not to mention some other stuff I didn't say... like wanting to have a Celtic ensemble or somesuchthing, and also writing music. WOW.
I no loger am burning the candle at both ends, but rather dumping it into a vat of lava.
*nods* Mhmm... that's how I roll.
Alright. Brief nap, then choir, then dinner, then meditation :)
