I just made the best ramen spaghetti ever.
We had this pasta sauce (I think it was Wal-Mart's green pepper and onion sauce or something.  Hell if I know) leftover from when we had spaghetti like, last week, and Melina was going to throw it away, but the voice of reason (me) intervened and was all "I could use that for ramen!" even though my previous attempt at ramen spaghetti wasn't too great.  So.  I added that, and like, five times as much oregano as I wanted (I seriously can't use those stupid little spice jar lids.  They do not cooperate.  And honestly, I don't even know what oregano is supposed to taste like.  It's Italian and smells good, so... yeah.) and some parmesean cheese, and it's perfect.  Of course you discard that nasty flavour packet (I actually like it, but I had Aldi brand ramen which has 77% sodium, and I'd rather not die).  And you have to eat it with chopsticks.  Because it's ramen.  Even if you suck with chopsticks like I do.
Yeah, so, I'm totally going to write a cookbook of ramen recipes.  And it'll all be really vague, like that last paragraph:  "Add five times as much oregano as you think you need and way too much sauce."  Seriously though, this entire meal probably cost less than $3.  I'm prepared for my future life as a starving writer/artist/squatter.

and all that cal, ramen
