So, yesterday was fun.  We had a few tornadoes in Missouri, but not here in Arnold.  There was one in Fenton, which is where Stephen lives, but he's alright.  He said, "I live on a hill.  So I'm good."
Melina was freaking out because the sirens were going off in the distance (but not in Arnold at the time) and Mom was just baking cookies and acting like everything's fine.  Which I don't get at all.  Yeah, it wasn't storming or anything, yet.  Every time this happens, she acts like we're being totally irrational to be worried.  Eventually she did finish her cookies and we decided to leave.  We went to my brother's house, even though we could've just gone to Arnelda's.  Mom wanted to do our Christmas thing.  That's another reason why we didn't leave sooner; she was wrapping presents.  She's crazy.  We got caught in insanely heavy rain going over there, and we had to pull over.  Great fun.
You should see all the damage in Fenton and Sunset Hills, though.  It's scary.  I'm still kind of pissed at my mom for totally ignoring that there might be a problem.  Her priorities are all screwed up.  She said "Nothing ever happens!" but you know, I'd rather be wrong and freak out than to be right and be stuck in our trailer when a tornado comes through.  Of course, we'd probably be dead, so we couldn't be like "Told you so."  Not like I'd do that.  But you know, she'd be all "I totally wasn't expecting this!" and all that cal.
Anyway.  We got presents.  I got some motorcycle/riding boots.  I'd get you a picture, but I'll have to take one.  They're pretty sexy.  Melina got a motorcycle jacket.  It was made in Pakistan and there was this card in there that had Arabic on it, haha.  It's pretty cute, but it's a little short.  It's the right size, but you know how they make women's clothes.
Yeah... Oh.  I put my TV stand together today, and you know what's hilarious?  I got those replacement cam locks and everything, and when I started putting it together, the cam locks were already in there.  I really fucking hate Walmart.  And whoever decided to put it together partially and return it.  I bet you can guess who's going to be buying their furniture from the Salvation Army from now on.  But yeah, now the TV's off the coffee table and my record player's back there.  Maybe I can finally get around to listening to those records I got for Christmas.
Oh yeah, Happy New Year.  And all that cal.

vinyl, and all that cal, tornadoes, records, wal-mart, salvation army, christmas, clothes
