Annoyance of the Moment
Ok this pisses me off so I'm sharing.
It pisses me off that I cannot say anything about a friend or a friend's parent having something nice that my Father may be somewhat envious of without getting the standard response of
"Must be nice to be rich."
Yes, because clearly they didn't actually work hard or do anything to be able to afford such a thing. Clearly they grew up with silver spoons and gold plated diapers because no one actually EARNS anything they have.
You could have those things if you worked/saved for them so WTF-EVER. You have the option to try that most people will never have.
I could have nicer things if I budgeted better and wasn't a dumbass with money and some of my personal choices. I know that. I can admit that. I know that when I do have nice things I will know that I earned it.
I will probably still get the "Must be nice to be rich." line.
That my friends, is bullshit. It angers my soul and makes me want to scream.
In other news:
I haven't had a cigarette in 11 days.
I have saved $52.14 by not smoking 196 cigarettes.
I have saved 1D 8h 40m of my life.
So fuckin there!! :-P
