Happy Birthday Buddy
Today - 7th September 2008 - would have been Buddy Holly's 70th birthday. He has been dead almost 6 times longer than he was alive, yet his music never dies. He was a pioneer. A true musical genius who managed to cram a whole lifetime of music into a few short years.
Buddy was probably one of the most influencial recording artists of the era, if not of all time. And in case you didn't know, he is my absolute hero.
His music is timeless and still sounds as bloody amazing as it it did when he first recorded it.
He has been a huge part of my life for over 15 years. Through his music I have met many wonderful people and visited some amazing places. I may not listen to the music as much as I used to, but it still lives in my heart and always will.
