I dreamed that I was the commander of a battalion during WWII, and we were stuck behind the walls of this rinkadink country town somewhere in France. Half the townspeople were sick and half my soldiers were injured, but we had to defend the position at all costs or we would be able to move anywhere. We had this elaborate defense system set up along the wall, but the hospital was built into the wall, so we had very little protection for the people who were too sick or injured to fight. Needless to say, we lost the battle, but we had time to retreat. It was practically impossible because we didn't have enough vehicles to transport the wounded, and there was only one horse in the whole town and we had to use it to pull the supply wagon.
Very strange dream.
I got almost 12 hours of sleep last night, but I'm really groggy. Also, my nose is kind of stuffy and my throat is rather sore. Not the scratchy, hurts to swallow sore, at least not so far, but the sore where everything feels swollen and it's difficult to swallow. I hope I'm not coming down with something. Why do they say you're coming down with something? Why isn't it coming up with something?
I have a lot of work to do today, hope I get it all done. Aside from student teaching, I have Vega stuff to take care of, and it's been hard getting a hold of my officers.
I don't have time to be sick, I have too much to do. :(
Food.
