So...... it's been a while.....
Yeah, so I haven't posted anything here in like 2 months. What can I say? Things have been busy and good.
Some highlights, for you curious few:
- Got 2 snow days. While it would've been better to get, like, four, we will get time off the end of the year and Memorial Day weekend is now a 4-day weekend.
- Got a new computer. It. Is. AWESOME! Now to just transfer files over and pray that OpenOffice works as it claims to. The only downside to this computer is that the CPU is humongous! It doesn't fit on the CPU shelf on the computer desk. We may need to operate.
- Lovely visit from Sue, Dave and Sara. Sadly, conferences and other obligations made actual visiting time less than hoped for. Plus Sue got sick, which was stinky.
- Went to Texas for spring break. Saw San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Boerne and Bandera, ate good food, rode a horse.
- As of April 14th, I am effectively done with my graduate work. I just have two more "meetings" of sorts (one for conferencing on the final paper, one is the wrap up class) and then I get my diploma. Or at least the nice faux leather folder holding the form letter that tells me I'll get my diploma once all my credits and requirements are confirmed.
- There are something like 45 days of school left. Maybe less.
- We're going to California in July to attend a wedding, and will also see San Francisco, Napa Valley (we're staying one night in the town where the Jelly Belly factory is located), and Yosemite. After Cali, I will only have 25 states left to visit.
I'm allergic to something in Texas that doesn't grow here. The flights home were painful due to congestion. I just hope this doesn't become sinus infection. That would suck. Also, I've developed a cough today that is very deep. Weird. I don't feel sick though, just tired.
