Family Teamups Proves to be a Powerful Thing on TO! (My 2x13 Thoughts)

Alright so here is a jotted recap of the episode with my initial thoughts included throughout and after the episode. I do it this way because my memory sucks when it comes to recalling things that don't revolve around my OTP for the series.

It's definitely nerve-wracking not knowing which side Freya is on when it comes to Hope.
One thing is for sure, Finn can't get a hold of Hayley's blood because I bet that he needs that for a spell to find Hope.

- Mary, Jackson and the visiting Alphas get ready to perform a transfer of status to Jackson
- Hayley walks in tells Jackson that they have a problem and that she needs his blood

- Klaus isn't pleased
- Kol notices the aftermath of spell ingredients that surround him...he's impressed
- Rebekah goes higher up and notices something
- Kol reaches in the ashes and finds a runic tile...for baby
- Kol realizes that Hope is still alive ("That's it, isn't it? Your baby is still alive.")
- Rebekah realizes that Finn had distracted them (with the blood gather) to get to Hope without a problem

- Elijah packs up the stable when he gets a call from Klaus about Finn
- "Finn knows, about Hope, about everything." -Klaus

- Klaus walks in with mystical and dark artifacts that Kol asked for from Klaus' collection

- The house explosion shocks Camille
- The car starts up again
- Camille looks to Hope
- Did Hope stop the car with magic?!?!?!
CREDITS
While I'm stunned at the possiblitiy of Hope showing signs of magic and vampire healing in her early age, I refuse to believe that Elijah is dead!! HE CAN'T BE!!! *waits for the next promo* Okay, Elijah isn't dead but how did he survive? I get he's harder to kill since he's an Original but how could he survive an explosion like that? Or did he run really fast before it consumed him? *Side Note* After a day of reflection, I remembered when Damon tried to burn Elijah's dessicated body back in VD 2x16 with no success so I would have to assume that Elijah is still fireproof.
And is Finn dead or is his vessel just dead?
Now for Freya...while I'm glad that she's not on Dahlia's side, I'm disappointed that she would want Baby Hope dead too. But why? What is the real curse that Dahlia placed on the family if Freya is still alive?
And Baby Hope has shown great potential in this episode alone! We knew she can heal back in 1x04 because she healed Hayley of her wounds while in the womb and we knew that her blood could transition wolves into hybrids. But know we have a glimpse of Hope using magic!! At least that's what I gathered from the last moments of the episode.
And my absolute favorite thing about this episode is the scenes between Klaus, Rebekah and Kol!! They were up, they were down but they ultimately worked together to take down Finn from afar. I think they soldified their loyalty with one another. I can't wait for Kol to work to get Rebekah back to her body while Rebekah tries to find a way to save Kol from dying from the hex. I believe we haven't seen these three (only) in a scene together since VD 4x11.

- Klaus counters Esther's ability to have found Rebekah when she was on the run with Hope
- Kol walks in and attacks Rebekah and Klaus
- Rebekah is knocked unconscious with a powder
- Klaus coughs up some blood
- Klaus tries to transform yet can't

- Kol takes Klaus' hands and places them on his head
- "Go inside my head, find the spell. Let's finish this." -Kol

- Mary, Jackson and the visiting Alphas get ready to perform a transfer of status to Jackson
- Hayley walks in tells Jackson that they have a problem and that she needs his blood

- Klaus, Kol and Rebekah arrive and find no one there
- Klaus isn't pleased
- Kol notices the aftermath of spell ingredients that surround him...he's impressed
- Rebekah goes higher up and notices something
- Kol reaches in the ashes and finds a runic tile...for baby
- Kol realizes that Hope is still alive ("That's it, isn't it? Your baby is still alive.")
- Rebekah realizes that Finn had distracted them (with the blood gather) to get to Hope without a problem
- Klaus rushes to call Elijah

- Elijah packs up the stable when he gets a call from Klaus about Finn
- "Finn knows, about Hope, about everything." -Klaus
- Elijah watches as Finn approaches him

- Camille calls Elijah on a payphone...only to leave a message
- Hope is with Camille
- Oh thank goodness they aren't at the house
- Camille notices something odd...Hope's scratch is gone

- Klaus can't get a hold of Camille
- Rebekah reassures Klaus that Elijah will protect Hope and Camille
- Klaus points out that Finn is too powerful with his connection to Mikael and Esther...he wants to sever the connection
- Kol can't sever the link but he has another idea that needs power of their own to do it
- "I'll take power of our own, and a lot of it." -Kol

- Elijah wonders how Finn found him
- Finn reveals that Freya helped him
- Apparently Freya doesn't like Elijah

- Finn goads Elijah for his filthy actions (ie: Tatia)
- Elijah stares at his hands
- Finn goads Elijah that Hope's death will be one his hands

- Camille's car shuts down suddenly
- The house is within sight

- Elijah tells Finn that his mind is clear and that gas has been soaking the air as Finn ranted
- Elijah stands
- "You have disgraced this family for the last time. Goodbye brother." -Elijah
- Elijah takes off his daylight ring and puts it in the sun
- Elijah starts to catch on fire
- The house explodes
- ELIJAH!!!!

- The house explosion shocks Camille
- The car starts up again
- Camille looks to Hope
- Did Hope stop the car with magic?!?!?!
CREDITS
While I'm stunned at the possiblitiy of Hope showing signs of magic and vampire healing in her early age, I refuse to believe that Elijah is dead!! HE CAN'T BE!!! *waits for the next promo* Okay, Elijah isn't dead but how did he survive? I get he's harder to kill since he's an Original but how could he survive an explosion like that? Or did he run really fast before it consumed him? *Side Note* After a day of reflection, I remembered when Damon tried to burn Elijah's dessicated body back in VD 2x16 with no success so I would have to assume that Elijah is still fireproof.
And is Finn dead or is his vessel just dead?
Now for Freya...while I'm glad that she's not on Dahlia's side, I'm disappointed that she would want Baby Hope dead too. But why? What is the real curse that Dahlia placed on the family if Freya is still alive?
And Baby Hope has shown great potential in this episode alone! We knew she can heal back in 1x04 because she healed Hayley of her wounds while in the womb and we knew that her blood could transition wolves into hybrids. But know we have a glimpse of Hope using magic!! At least that's what I gathered from the last moments of the episode.
And my absolute favorite thing about this episode is the scenes between Klaus, Rebekah and Kol!! They were up, they were down but they ultimately worked together to take down Finn from afar. I think they soldified their loyalty with one another. I can't wait for Kol to work to get Rebekah back to her body while Rebekah tries to find a way to save Kol from dying from the hex. I believe we haven't seen these three (only) in a scene together since VD 4x11.
