Damn McDonalds
Today for lunch, I stopped at McDonalds. Ordered a chicken sandwich from the dollar menu. I gave the cashier a 2 dollar bill. He looked at it and told me they couldn't accept it. I said, "Excuse me?!?" He said, "The counting machine may not accept it." I said, "You're kidding, right?" He then took it and I told him not to worry, the manager would have to count it by hand. From now on, I a will always pay in 2 dollar bills at McDonalds.
2 dollar bills you ask? Yes, they are still out there and I get them every time I cash my paycheck, just to keep them in circulation. The same with the Sackaguwea (have ever its spelled) and the Susy B's. Come to think of it, McDonalds will get a few of them too.
Most of the time, I use them for tips and tolls. This week, the bank had 51 of them. One of them was the older print with the different back, which mad me happy. So I was using them everywhere.
