And I am so incredibly frustrated by my fellow fans who seem to want the writers to be as lazy as humanly possible.
Korra being descended from Sokka? LAZY.
Mako being a Maiko baby? Or worse, exactly like Iroh? LAZY.
Frankly, I will be delighted if nobody in Korra's group (save Tenzin, because duh) is descended from the original gaang. I would be happiest of all if Korra is from a splinter branch of the Southern Water Tribe, but I will settle for being descended from Bato. Because Bato.
I also want to know more about Hiroshi Sato (HOMG A LAST NAME THAT MAKES... FOUR CHARACTERS* IN THE WORLD WITH ONE) and Lieutenant. Especially Lieutenant. (Oh please be the big bad. PLEASE.)
EDIT: Actually, please let Mako be exactly like Iroh.
