I am mildly trashed*.

And by mildly I mean I had a glass of champagne, three cocktails (one with absinthe), and scotch.  17-year-old scotch, natch.

Clearly this means I should do a meme!

To warn y'all, this is an OC meme.

Angelo hurt.

Henslow had slammed his head into the floor after he'd tackled him, the Insidiator recalled that much. And he remembered what he'd been doing before he'd been caught. He didn't remember much after that, though.

Probably the blow to the head.

Ow.

After a moment, Angelo carefully opened his eyes, and realised he wasn't in prison. Surprising.

On attempting to move, however, he found that he'd been restrained. His world made sense again.

The question was: where was he?

Light stabbed his eyes, and he groaned, then a familiar voice said, "Sanchez."

The Merlin did not sound happy.

He came into Angelo's line of vision, not looking any happier than he sounded. "I trust you have an explanation for me?"

After a moment, Angelo forced a grin and suggested, "April Fool's?"

He was amazed when DuMorne didn't kill him then and there. Instead, the Merlin looked past Angelo. "Throw him into the Pit," he ordered.
