Virus/infected? Nope.

What about a zombie virus that does what it SHOULD DO and not only get into humans but all animals and then into the ecosystem? Because someone who got infected and/or eaten died (since, logically, zombie body should continue dying) and decomposed which made the virus go into the dirt, water, get spread by being dragged away in tiny little pieces by ants (because zombie ANTS that spread the virus is fucking scary shit 'cause one tiny bite and you're fucked). Then the virus gets up into the clouds through the water and then that shit is EVERYWHERE. And thus, the world is screwed in a true zombie apocalypse.

Would that work? :D

It exists! It is awesome. Mind you, there's no such thing as zombie ants, but it's because the virus only affects mammals and only causes zombies in... I think it's mammals over forty pounds of body mass.

Then again, this does lead to a zombie giraffe.

So you know. Pros and cons.
