I started digging patterns and fabric out, all ready to start sewing before the seed starting gets going and takes over the dining table. Then I measured myself, just to see if anything had changed and.... I realized that what I'd suspected was true. I've gotten bigger, sometime since early December I think it was, and not proportionally. My chest is two inches bigger, and my belly now matches my chest. (my hips, on the other hand, are now 1 inch smaller than my belly and chest) Obviously, I need to hit the exercise bike and the weights, no matter how much they'll make my body hurt. Because I want to make vintage patterns up, and they are all pretty much designed for people with a waist. Plus, losing some will make my blood sugars easier to control.
Dear goddess, I hate exercising.
So for now I'll make a couple of cute aprons, and maybe a couple of hats. Then I'll start planting seeds. I've got lots and lots of those; I want a lush flower bed this year. And that (ugh) exercise will get me ready for the gardening year. Yeah.
