Web of promised truths
"I love you..."
His whisper is so soft that I have barely missed it.
Truth.

A small smile finds its way to my lips. Nearly unnoticeable. Except for him.
"You should smile more often. It suits you."
A statement. Truth.

His gentle fingers trace the outlines of my face, caressing my hair.
I feel so much, yet I never seem to be able to voice it.
"Don't worry so much. I'll never leave you."
Brown eyes meet crystal blue.
No lie.

The bonds that tie us run deep. Very deep.
It's something most people can't understand.
Tennis is what has brought us together.
And the promises we made to each other, all the promises we ever spoke out loud, even those we merely thought, these truths are what will always keep us together.
Even when being apart. For days and many miles.
The faith we have in one other is ... unbreakable. Unchangeable.
It is our love for tennis that has brought us together. It is the web of promised truths that keeps us together. Forever ...
