Wishing you a very merry Christmas
Happy Christmas everyone and I hope that you all had a pleasant Christmas Day.
I've had a lovely holiday so far. Building new memories with family and dear friends. I spent Christmas day at my parents' house with my sister, and June came round in the afternoon for dinner. Her parents live so far away, it was a shame she couldn't be with them but I think that she was happy to be an adopted part of the Avenal family for the day. Also, I was quite spoilt with gifts - Chelsea bought me a BOSS shirt that she'd obviously seen me eyeing up when we went Christmas shopping together. I was a little overwhelmed at that.
Work has been quiet over the festive period - most people seem to be on annual leave - but it's been good to have some peace and quiet to get stuck into some backlog. The new year marketing campaign needed a lot of fine tuning; it seems that everyone else in our department leaves these things to the last minute. But no more sloppy work now that I'm on the job. I'm eager to get back to it on the 2nd.
I think all that remains is to wish all of you a happy and peaceful 2013!
