A quick update on what's been going on.
Hello everybody.
As usual, I have a lot to update on in this journal.
Things have been very busy, especially at work. The pay rise and change in duties that I mentioned turned into an entirely new position (well, I say 'new' - apparently I did this job before but whilst I have no recollection of the fact, thankfully I can still do the job!) I've now moved onto the first floor and work in Marketing. I'm really enjoying it - although the hours are long and the work demanding it's a lot more challenging than looking after the servers. It does mean I no longer work in the same office as Roy, Moss and Jen, but I've come to see them more as friends now than just work colleagues and I've been out on a fair few nights out with Roy and I seem to be getting closer with Jen too.
In short, I think I feel settled in my life again. I'm thinking less and less about what I have or haven't forgotten, as new things fill in the gaps. I went out with Chelsea and bought some new clothes and bits and pieces for the flat. I'm feeling strong enough now to tackle having a bit of a 'life spring-clean'. I've sorted some of my stuff into boxes - it's too good to throw away and I'd feel a little strange donating it to a charity shop, but I understand that there are sporadic 'goth bring and buy' sales for charity that go on around London so I'm storing it to donate to the next one of those.
Currently looking forward to Christmas celebrations - if anybody wants to go for a drink, let me know - work should ease off a little over the Christmas period (judging by the amount of works dos I've been invited to already!)
And last but not least, I understand that it's Mitch's birthday today, so - many happy returns.
