Fell back into my old habits of not updating, *slaps wrist* Bad Dreymer, no cookie!
Weekend was more or less a bust on the writing front. Made some small progress, but nowhere near what I'd have wanted. So, same old story: need to buckle down this weekend and write like a man possessed to finish this fic up and get it off my to-do list. In the absence of writing, I made further progress with podfic. I now have: 10 Items or Less, Bridges, SchueTube and That Hallmark Jazz recorded and saved on my PC. I made an attempt to record Act 1 of Einherjar's Descendent; took an evening and a half of recording time and then half an evening of editing time for me to give up. I think I'm gonna leave the long fics for now, wait to see what response I get at the comm before I throw myself any further into this.
Work is going okay. On Friday I got to make my first solo visit, it wasn't a big deal or anything which is why they sent me off without supervision but I kinda feel like it means I'm starting to become a member of the team instead of just the temp guy. Then, yesterday I was supposed to be writing minutes for a meeting with Jacqui and Alison but they both had to cancel at the last minute so I was loaded up with a laptop and sent along to the meeting on my own. Kind of intimidating, but I just sat with my head ducked down over my minutes pad and scribbled down anything I thought might be relevant for Jacqui and Alison to read over.
