Weekend
Okay, so met up with Yasmin, Ashley and Jamie at The Swan on Friday night. Had a bit of trouble getting in because I don't have official ID, but the bus pass from my JSA and a solemn promise from Jamie that I genuinely was over 18 was enough to get me in. So as not to push it I stayed on soda the entire night anyway and spent most of my time talking games, comics and anime with Ashley. Really only had the intention of staying a few hours but ended up still out at gone 1:30 in the morning and decided to call it a night around then. Bumped into Louise and Mark as we were going and stayed to have a chat with them.
Spent most of my weekend reading catboy!Arthur Inception fic and fiddling about with Audacity to put together an entry for the podcast theme song contest going on at winnners. Productive? Well, I don't regret it at least.
Work again tomorrow, kind of excited to start my first full week but I'm also gonna try and get into the swing of limited free time because I don't want to have to wait until the weekend all the time to get any writing done, so I'll have to learn to make good use of the evenings. Also, local elections are coming up and so I'm gonna have to become politically aware enough to cast an informed vote, another drain on my time. Ah well...
