Went to the interview for the Environmental Health Assistant work experience placement yesterday. I was feeling a little underprepared but the two women interviewing me were very friendly and explained from the get-go that they wanted to keep the meeting informal and relaxed. I answered all their questions without feeling too much like an idiot and managed to leave feeling happy that I'd made it through an interview unscathed.
So when I got the call this morning telling me that they wanted to offer me the placement I was a little surprised, but really glad. Their office is gonna mail me further details about the position but they've arranged it to start on the 31st. So basically, I have gainful employment until September... Now I've just got to make sure I don't fuck it up :3
