Jack had found himself in the lobby again, frustrated and bored. He'd flipped through every single movie on the TV in his room, explored wherever he could outside, and accomplished absolutely nothing. It was starting to drive him just a little bit crazy.
When the door opened he raised his head. Young, scantily clad...For a moment he considered not warning her. Then his better nature won out.
"Don't come in here, sweetheart. Get in your car and drive away while you still can." Melodrama didn't mean it wasn't accurate.
She looked to him and the sweetheart set her off a little. She didn't care to much for pet names and such.
"I wish I could, but see the road keeps bringing me in a big circle back to this place. Was wondering if there was a back road I could catch or something."
Ah. Well, that was clear enough. Jack sighed. "Then you might as well come in." She was already caught. "There's no back road. I'm sorry. We're kind of...stuck, I suppose you might say." He motioned for her to come in. "I'd say welcome on board, but that's not as funny as it should be anymore."

"Stuck? If there's a way in there has to be a way out."
She contemplated the idea that she could be stuck, that she wouldn't make it back to campus.
"You're just messing with me, aren't you?"
