Year of the Cat

//...// = twins talking

[...] = thoughts

When Hisoka is crossdressing I refer to her as a guy, as well as refering to her as Kyo every now and then.

~Purr~

Hisoka sniffed instinctively from having her nose feeling a little stuffy. Slipping her feet out from her flip-flops she pulled her knees close to her chest, tucking her toes into the cuff of her kaki pant legs. The tiny cold digits slowly warming up as she read over her work, the night sky starting to light up from the dawning sun. She zipped up the over sized jacket, the way it fell consealed her woman-hood. Balancing the laptop on her knees she typed in a last few keys before deeming her project complete.

Someone walking by stopped, the man's smooth voice showing no real emotion as he looked at Hisoka, "Ara? Cosplay?"

Hisoka's head snapped up from her computer and set a dead glare at the man. The guy looked just like Hatsuharu, except he didn't have the white coat, but a navey blue jacket with lots of pockets.

"The hell are you to talk?" she spat.

The guy only gave a small smile as he turned so he was fully facing her, "Seems we're in the same boat?"

"Huh?"

"Mistaken for cosplayers."

She snorted as she closed the laptop, "Doesn't help that our voices are similar to the character's either. You don't even have a freaking voice reflection just like... wait, why am I talking to you? I don't even know who you are."

"Do names matter?"

"No, YES! That way I know what to call you."

"So you want to see me again?"

"NO! I mean, god damn it who are you?!"

The white and black haired man gave a very tiny smile, "My friends call me Hatsu, you?"

"Me? I'll call you Hatsu as long as you don't tick me off, dumb cow."

"That's not very nice to call someone, even if you're friends."

"Since when were we friends?!"

"You going to tell me your name?"

Hisoka gave a sigh, "I go by to many things, just calling me what you want."

"Hnn...." Hatsu took a few steps and sat down next to the woman who was now pouting with her chin on her laptop.

There was a silence for a while before the new comer started to hear soft, even breathing. Glancing through the corner of his eye he found his companion fast asleep. A cool wind brushed through, orange hair pushed and pulled along with it. Leaning back he rested his arms up on the back of the bench, gray eyes just watching the world go by. There was something comforting about the moment.

He was enjoying it until the first bird of the morning decided to sing. It's loud chirp rather ear pearcing even to him, the sudden sound causing the woman next to him to jerk awake. Her legs instently spread out, hands up as she looked around, "Huh, wha-what is it?" Her sudden movement caused him to jump and her laptop to clatter to the ground.

The bird gave another one of its odd shrieks just when red eyes were starting to close again. He watched as she covered her ears and with in a few seconds it was like all the birds in the world decided to wake up and make as much noise as possible. He supressed a laugh as she flopped onto her side and soon discovered that possibly not even all the sleeping pills in the world would drown out the sounds and let her sleep.

"You... don't like birds?" Hatsu asked glancing down the the puff of orange hair that rested close to his leg.

As if spirred on, the red head shot up in her seat, "I hate birds!"

"Why?"

"They're annoying, dimwitted, evil spawns of satin that are only good when eaten," she grinned as if making a perfectly good point.

"So you wanna have breakfast with me?"

"Ha?"

"You sound hungry, come on."

"But I never-" Hatsu bent over and grabbed up her discarded laptop and grabbed the cat's hand. Pulling her up she gave a few more protests as she barely had enough time to slip on her footwear.

Several hours later and at school

"Hikaru, Kaoru!!!" Tamaki nearly ran over Hunny as he skidded around a corner. Mori grabbing the small human out of the way just in time as they were left in a dust trail, "What is the meaning of this?! I know you like being the center of attention but this is just over the top!"

//What are you blabing about, Tono?// the two looked over their should simontainously, stopping what they had been doing (which was playing a SP game of some sort).

"THIS!!!" The King pulled out a laptop, on the screen was a bunch of text.

"What is this?" Kaoru reached over and grabbed the laptop and started to read.

"It's posted with large text and bold letters on the club's webpage, and you two are in charge of the site! Why would you want to post something like... like... LIKE THIS!!"

"Like we said, what are you talking about?" Hikaru raised an eyebrow as his twin turned several shades of red while covering his mouth.

Out of curiousity he looked over the strawberry blond's shoulder, his hazel eyes lazily taking in the text before they widdened, cheeks turning several shades of red. The fine print of the 'lemon' story blairing out at them, the small counter in the corner going up as they remained frozen.

"It may be an attraction but something as unscrupulous as this is a horrible image for the Host Club," Tamaki placed a hand to his forehead, "If you just wanted more attention you could have just asked for more guests... now I've got to think of a punishment that is appropriate for something as saveir as this."

"B-b-but Tono we didn't do this!" Kaoru shouted, face the same color as a tomatoe.

"No one else has access to the website," the blond moved his hand down his face to rest his chin in his fingers. "But then again, this is rather unorthidox of you... Hnnn..." The blond smiled, "You're right, you wouldn't put something up like this, sorry for misjudging you."

"Tono always over reacts, so it's okay," Hikaru's fingers were flying over the laptop's keys, with in a few minutes the piece of litarature was removed with their password and axcess handle changed.

"But who would want to do something like that two Hika-chan and Kao-chan?" Hunny woundered as he sat snuggly in Mori's arms. "They must really have something against them to do something so mean."

"Maybe it's someone getting even," Haruhi suggested as she passed by.

//Why would anyone want to get even with someone that did nothing to them?//

She stopped and turned her head, her eyes giving a sutle glare, "It's not like the two of you are angels. You probably crossed the wrong person this time and didn't think much of it."

The Hitachiins looked at eachother as it dawned on them. With a squeel of delight they hugged their brunet friend, snuggling against her giving their thanks which no one understood what for. Quickly they ran off, grinning chuckles as they made their way down the hall. It would seem that their playmate wanted to play somemore, it was a good shot but they were old pros to this game and a newbie wasn't going to stop them.
