Hopefully, the top sentence is enough to hook you into clicking on the lj-cut, and you'd better, because this new part is REALLY LONG and took ages to get off the ground. (And it shows his face, with the nooby faceup of noobyness, yes.)
My holidays are ending and I feel like I've accomplished nothing... so I want stuff like this on lj to prove to myself that I did, indeed, see a pussy cat. Or do a dollfie story. Or SOMETHING.
Unfortunately, because I was scared of my compy running out of space the photos were saved at a pretty low-res, so please pardon it. I didn't realise it was so bad until I opened them up in Flickr and was like "OH MY GOD". If you want to get mad, rest assured I'm much madder... lots of effort went into this one.
Aaah... I know no one reads all this rubbish so click the link and get to the photostory, ok? ^_-
Chapter 1: Uncomfortable New World
IN THE NEXT EPISODE...
A new dollfie in a new world... and a new challenger springs into the fray with the speed of a speeding Seal(y)! Will the boy be able to combat this threat that attacks him for no apparent reason? Will he figure out the secret of the Photoshopped special effects?? Will he finally get his name??? All this and more... in the next Epi.. wait, Chapter of... wait...
Erm..... I forgot to name this story, didn't I?
You know, as a rule I'm always bursting with things to write about my stories after I'm done. But I'm also always too tired to write anything. I'll try update with author's notes and such when I can though.
Also, unfortunately this style of photostorying is tiring me out, so I might discontinue after the relevant plot point. This is a bit of a double-headed hippo, because the plot point might not come for... years, so folks, this will probably be around for a LOT LONGER.
And yes, the pacing is currently set on SUPER FAST and will not die down for a while. Right now the main point's to establish some important plot points (like MY FUCKING DOLL'S NAME) so it's going to move at breakneck speed, and at lot of things move too fast to catch up with. Hopefully, I can shift into slower gear when the story realllly gets going but for now, bear with me. I promise this will be one hell of an adventure provided I ever finish it. (At the very least, you can laugh at the nonsense they all sprout.)
Some advice needed: You think I should keep the original jpgs (without effects), the edited jpgs (with effects, text, etc), or the original photoshop documents? I wanted to keep all three but that eats space like the hippo mentioned above. Or should I just burn the lot? Thanks in advance!
