Causa Belli
This is as much for my own records as anything, but back in 2003 when Bush invaded Iraq, the British poet laureate, Andrew Motion, wrote a poem called “Causa Belli”:
They read good books, and quote, but never learn
a language other than the scream of rocket-burn.
