Of sickness, tutoring, and completing things at the last minute!

It would figure that one of the times I try to plan things out early that it would end up backfiring and causing me to rush around like a madman trying to make up for it. (I'm currently referring to my 'fun' of getting ready for Alpha's and Laura's wedding ::chuckles:: ) I had asked my father to arrange my airplane tickets for me in hopes his wife could net me a discount. I called him a few days ago to remind him - no answer. Tried again.... still no answer. Finally, I tried him one last time today, got sent to voicemail and hung up. So much for trying to 'save' money.... ordering tickets at the last minute just cost me more. At least I actually have them ^^ Then, the store I was arranging to have my tux done with suddenly starts spouting out this nonsense about not wanting me to have the tux for so long... and begins tacking on all these surcharges - etc so I called Alpha in hopes he could arrange something if I gave him my measurements like Blair. He said he could, but I'll still have to pick something out when I get up there. Me, having the honorary position of Officiator, gets to wear something different than everyone else. Not really sure what my options will be, but I think I'd definitely love to wear another tux with a mandarin collar design. Ironically, this may make me look even more the part. Though, on that note, I still have to come up with a good ceremonial speech and whatnot. I'm still lacking the essential knowledge of how the ceremony works.... at the moment. But I can do it ^^ Even if my sinus infection says otherwise > <

In other news, tutoring is going rather well. The second session (aka the second summer semester) started today and as such it is once again quiet as all hell. (Hmm quiet as all hell.... is hell quiet? Where do we get some of these idioms... seriously) I still haven't gotten my laptop back, and hell - I don't even know where it is at the moment as my father appears unreachable. Figures. Oh, and yea, I'm sick again - almost over it but the steroids I was taking along with the antibiotics ran out so I'm expecting a relapse.... but what else is new? ::laughs:: Fun times @@
