I don't think anything is more ridiculous than seeing a girl with a tan in the dead of winter. Granted, it's spring and the luminous cloud of cold has almost left us but it's still-pardon the expression-fucking stupid. I just read they are implementing a new law that requires parental consent to anyone under 18 who wants to use a tanning bed. There are more important bills/laws to pass, but this is a pretty good one. You shouldn't be the only one in school on a February who looks like you spent 7 straight days on the beach. Besides, kiddies...the sun will kill you with skin cancer much faster than those tanning beds ever could.
