I see why it was confusing, though - I should have been much, much more clear!
I just meant from the post that on Mother's Day, a lot of people try to celebrate not just people who are technically moms but woman who makes the world a better place with her "motherly" love. I agree with that goal 100%, but I think improving the world with motherly love can mean many things. Like, being a strong leader for a good cause is a motherly thing to do; protecting people is a motherly thing to do.

One of the most influential for me was a High school french teacher who was there for a lot of kids - she had no interest in becoming a mother herself but she sure helped mother a lot of them anyway!
