How was Billie a mother? I mean, I know she treated Van and Deaq like she was their keeper, but she wasn't their mom.

She's not a literal mother; I wanted to include someone who is not one since I am wishing a happy Mother's Day to people that have had or raised kids but also to people who have been mothers in other ways.

I see why it was confusing, though - I should have been much, much more clear!

I just meant from the post that on Mother's Day, a lot of people try to celebrate not just people who are technically moms but woman who makes the world a better place with her "motherly" love. I agree with that goal 100%, but I think improving the world with motherly love can mean many things. Like, being a strong leader for a good cause is a motherly thing to do; protecting people is a motherly thing to do.

Thanks for asking - I really should have been more direct :)

here here! :) I had teachers and older mentor/friends who mothered me along with my mom and helped me be the woman I am now <3 we should celebrate those ladies too!

One of the most influential for me was a High school french teacher who was there for a lot of kids - she had no interest in becoming a mother herself but she sure helped mother a lot of them anyway!

Happy Mom's Day, coffee!

I forget - have you seen Fastlane? It's not the most brilliant show but it had its superfun moments.

You know, I've never seen a mother's day definition that encompassed me. *Warm fuzzies*

Happy Mother's day to you. :)
