While away in Florida I learned that my friend Jessica from MDC found out that after battling breast cancer and a recent brain tumor, she has carcinoma meningitis which is cancer in her spinal fluid. She and her family have decided that she will go home for hospice care. Jess has a son born in the same birth month as Gabbie, which is mainly how I know her. Her son's name is Noah. She also lives semi locally to me, although we were never able to meet in person. In September she had her second son, Gavin. He is the baby that I was and am helping to find breastmilk donations for.
For anyone looking to give to a charitable organization this year, to take a little bit of money that they might have and give to someone-please, send it to the address below. Jessica's husband will need a base to help raise their 2 young sons, find childcare, etc. Any amount can help.
