1 week to the walk - anyone else want to donate?

Hello,

Because I have lost 3 friends to suicide, on Oct. 14, 2007, I will be joining with thousands of walkers in the 2007 Out of the Darkness Community Walks to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

I am walking to raise awareness of mental illness and suicide and my personal fundraising goal is set at $150, but I know I can raise much more than that. I am asking everyone I can to support this worthwhile cause. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause. Please consider making a donation by clicking here.

AFSP is dedicated to funding research, suicide prevention and educational programs, and conferences and support networks for survivors of suicide loss, mental health professionals, physicians, and the public. Together, our support for AFSP will reduce suffering and the loss of life from suicide as well as end the broad stigma that surrounds mental illness and suicide. With more than 30,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over 1 million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's work has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP and is 100% tax deductible. Thank you for considering this request for your support. If you have any questions about the Out of the Darkness Community Walks or AFSP do not hesitate to contact me.
