Today's craftiness
Apparently boiling plum leaves smell like butternut squash. WTF is up with that? I don't understand it one bit. I just put a big pot full of leaves on to simmer, went to the gym, came back, and smelled this GORGEOUS aroma. How utterly strange.
Yesterday I mordanted all my white wool. I need more white wool. Hoping my birthday in two weeks will yield some. Now it's all prepared to take dye, which I'm making out of the plum leaves from my backyard.
Shit, it's starting to boil. Man, I can't even deal with how GOOD it smells! I'll post pictures if the dying goes well.
