Last week I received a package at Bayan Productions from mompreneur Ines Santiago. I am so touched by her note. Though I've been in television for almost 12 years, being on the net and having a public blog has certainly made it easier for me to communicate with whoever and whatever is out there. When I'm out and people tell me they love Urban Zone, I still get a thrill. But when people take the time to write to me or tell me they read my blog, it's a different kind of satisfaction. I don't know how long and how far I can take this blog. Just taking it one day at a time.
Thank you Ines!
I love mompreneurs. There's something about motherhood that can force or inspire you to be creative and resourceful. Ines not only has a learning centre called
We Play, she also has her own line of cute baby onesies called
In the Crib. Like a lot of Filipino entrepreneurs, her stuff is sold in Multiply. (Click on the links).
Cute onesie. And I love how she didn't use tags/labels. Instead, the label information is stamped on to the fabric. Those tags can be really annoying and uncomfy for babies.
Ines also sent dresses from her mom's export line for Sophia and Lily. One of the best things about shopping in the Philippines is our access to some of the best and finest export lines. I'm a big fan of smocking. I know its something most Pinoys take for granted. But dresses with smocking in North America are expensivo. I really appreciate the fact that they are painstakingly handmade.

Incredible smocking all by hand
Soph and Lily wasted no time wearing their new dresses. I love the silhouette. The girls love the length... They're so into long skirts.
Thank you Ines.
