Last month I was invited by the students of the University of the Philippines College of Architecture to speak about architecture and mass media. This was part of their ACLE or Alternative Classroom Learning Experience. It was a huge honour for me to be asked by one of the best universities in the country, so I made sure to save the date as early ( Read more... )

Why weren't you invited to speak while I was still in college? I would definitely have come, even if the ACLE would have had nothing to do with my course.

I am so grateful (in behalf of those lucky students) that you made the time to go all the way to UP to speak. I love my alma mater, and love it when the students get opportunities like this.

And thanks for inspiring these students! I'm sure there was a wealth of learnings that they got from you.

I was a student of UP but not of Archi... had this happened 9 years ago, I would have signed up for this ACLE.

I love my school too. I would've listened to you speak kahit hindi na ako estudyante ng pamantasan. ;)

Is UP Archi a new bldg? looks new (except for the floor--um, style?)

Is the archi book a local publication? looks interesting.

Because of Urban Zone and all the other things you do (UN Goodwill Ambassador and all of that), I am sure you're a great inspiration to those UP architecture students.
