My Dream House is Most probably Made of Wood , Stones and Concrete. Modern and Provincial at the Same time, so i will have the City and Provincial feel as to the Location which is here in Cebu. Blended with Capiz windows, High Ceiling with Mahogany Beams and Natural Lighting and Cross Ventilation coming in to save up for Air conditioning. Neutral Colors in the Interior, Huge Verandas beside a water feature ...Very Filipino. Slightly Spanish but dominant Filipino Feel.
Loved the modernity!

It looks like a mini mall so spacious so modern. The ventillation in the house is so terrific. The minimalist type design is so obvious. I like the plants, the table, the chairs. Nature in the house so good idea.
i wasn't able to watch the episode on the house with the covered glass courtyard. but based on the photos, it did look interesting to have a courtyard in the middle of your house. however, i am not so keen on the type of glass finish they used. it would have been more elegant if they used larger "see-through" glass panels instead of frosting/painting the glass. for me, it looked like a school building. and having windows that open that way (dunno how it's called)is the worst. almost no wind goes through a window with that kind of opening.
Hi Daphne. Pls follow the link below, which provided the inspiration for the courtyard of my house. This is the Prado Museum Expansion in Madrid, Spain. Certainly doesnt look like a school house to me. - Edwin Lim
