Doesn't happen too often. But that day, I was really inspired. I managed to put together a few vignettes to show my latest creation -- shadow boxes. Used stuff from my closet and a pad of designer print paper.
This shadow box opens on the side for easy access to pendants and medallions.
Why I love the Philippines so much -- that anything can be handcrafted. My frame was made from scratch - custom-made to my size specification, then goldleafed. Even the box in the bottom is hand-made. The craftsmen that I work with are so meticulous. I really love how this turned out. Even my medals are all hand-made. The settings are done by one goldsmith who does everything by hand. The medals, though from Europe, are all handpainted -- and they are miniscule.
