Wishing and hoping

The house was last renovated four years ago by design consultant Ito Kish. These photos are from his website www.gallanodesigns.com

We've pretty much kept it exactly like this, except my husband broke two of those test tubes.

The bedrooms upstairs have been waiting and almost-dying for renovation. But every year, something more important had to be done - structural repairs, rewirings, plumbing replacement, termites - stuff that I'm not interested in but had to go thru.

This season, BEAUTIFICATION will finally happen. And I won't have to worry about termites again:

Sorry for the plug. In all seriousness, Matwood is it for me this time around. Have you ever dealt with termites? I live in a 40-year old wooden house. And it's no joke.

Now Sophia will get the room she really wants. I get my boudoir. Lily moves out of our master's bedroom into her Ate's room. And my husband will finally get a clutter-free master's bedroom. Yeah right. Haha.

This is my vision for the little girls' room. Got this from Domino magazine website.

But my 5-year old thinks she's getting a Disney princess room. Not.

Now I need to find my design team to get this ball rolling. And the budget...

Are you doing any house improvements this year?
