"Fashion for a Cause"

Last month Ms Rosa Rosal personally asked me to host the big Red Cross benefit Fashion for a Cause. This was a project that no less than the "Dean of Philippine Fashion" Ben Farrales organized himself. I had no idea how huge it was going to be.

Last Oct 28 the Philippine fashion industry came together to support Mang Ben's project and to raise funds for the Red Cross. There were 100 models and 100 fashion designers. All the major fashion show directors were on board - Jackie Aquino, Robbie Carmona, Raymond Villanueva and more. It seems all the Luzon-based designers were there. From Malabon-Navotas designers to Joey Samson, Inno Sotto and Pitoy Moreno. Only Mang Ben can gather everyone this way. The event took place at the Philippine International Convention Centre. I rediscovered the beauty of the PICC that day. Separate post on that later. Stunning!

As I was the host, I had barely enough time to shoot or focus attention on taking photos. So I'm posting photos from Eddieboy Escudero's coverage, with his permission.

I co-hosted the event with Leo Martinez. Mang Ben Farales made my outfit. Now I own a creation of the Master!
